WHO board member: China engaging in massive cover-up

An advisory board member of the World Health Organization has admitted Communist China is engaging in a “massive cover-up” of COVID-19 origins. During an interview, Jamie Metzl said China is destroying lab samples, hiding records and placing a gag order on Chinese scientists to keep them quiet.
Metzl also pointed out that Chinese journalists are being imprisoned for asking questions. He added, this coupled with China’s control over the WHO’s initial investigation, only makes them look more suspicious. Not to mention the Wuhan Virology Institute’s hefty collection of bat coronaviruses.
“The more that China stonewalls, the more suspicious that it looks,” said Metzel. “We can’t give China a veto over whether or not we investigate the world’s worst pandemic in a century and then do everything we can to make everybody safe.”
Metzel stressed that the origins of COVID-19 must be uncovered because if not, we could be at risk of a future pandemic. “We have to get to the bottom of this, which means asking those tough questions and following the data wherever it leads,” said Metzel.
The lab-leak theory has continued to gain attention after reports were released that revealed researchers at a Wuhan virology lab fell ill back in late 2019.
