Americans are lining up nationwide to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. From Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, first responders and health care workers have started receiving their first doses of the vaccine.
Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, plans to vaccinate up to five thousand people a day.

“This site will move us closer to a day we can’t wait to wake up and hear about, a day when we record zero deaths here in Los Angeles, a day in which there are no more families devastated by this virus,” Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti stated. “A day when we say our economy is fully reopened, our children are back in school, we’re hugging our loved ones, we’re back together.”
With the capacity to vaccinate 12 thousand people, Dodger Stadium is the largest vaccination center to open in the U.S.
