The President’s daughter is honoring indigenous American’s during Native American Heritage Month.

While taking to Twitter on Thursday, Ivanka Trump highlighted the month of November as a time to celebrate the culture, heritage and contributions of Native Americans.

Ivanka has long championed for the Native American community, specifically raising awareness on violence against native women.

Earlier this year, the Trump administration moved to open the Missing and Murdered Native American Cold Case Office in Minnesota.

Last month, President Trump issued a proclamation designating November as Native American Heritage Month.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, observances for the month-long celebration are completely virtual this year.
